Meet Suzanne
I believe strength begins at the center — in the body, the breath, and the nervous system.
I’m Suzanne, a Yoga Therapist, mother, and lifelong student of movement and nature.
Through Core and More, I help people rebuild deep core strength and nervous system resilience so they can move through life pain free, feeling strong, steady, and at home in their bodies.
My work is rooted in Yoga Therapy. I began studying movement at 19 years old, helping women lose weight and build muscle at Curves for Women. Wanting to understand the deeper “why” of life, I traveled the world practicing yoga before landing in San Francisco to study with Joy Ravelli at Purusha Yoga, where I became certified as a Yoga Therapist.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from San Francisco State, and the city quickly became my home away from home. Blending the worlds of science and yoga has always fascinated me. While my movement practice has expanded beyond traditional asana, my spiritual practice and lifestyle remain deeply rooted in the philosophy of Yoga and Ayurveda.
Since becoming a mother, my movement practice has shifted in profound ways. I went through a period of debilitating pain where I couldn’t walk, sit comfortably, or do any of my normal activities. I sought help from every healing tradition I could reach — chiropractors, massage therapists, acupuncture, psychotherapy — all of it. What ultimately helped me heal was a blend of weight lifting, Pilates, somatic awareness, and learning to trust my body’s wisdom.
This led me to further training in Thai Bodywork and myofascial release for structural alignment. Over time, I developed a unique “Suzanne style” — a blend of everything I’ve learned to stay safe in movement, have fun while doing it, and grow stronger each year in both mind and body.
What I love most is empowering people to reclaim their own strength and confidence, so they feel safe and capable in their .
bodies again. That purpose is why I’m here.
Today, I help people who feel pain, fatigue, tense, weak, and disconnected from their center — physically or emotionally — rebuild strength from the inside out. My approach integrates deep core and pelvic floor restoration, somatic strength training, metabolic fitness, fascia and lymphatic bodywork, and nervous-system-regulating movement to support those navigating core weakness, chronic tension, burnout, or pelvic floor dysfunction.
At Core and More, we strengthen your physical core while reconnecting you to your inner core — your steadiness, your capacity, and your confidence. When your center becomes stronger, your whole life becomes stronger too.
